KC vs Britains vs FOV vs 21st
KC vs Britains vs FOV vs 21st
So I have seen that Britains is also releasing some new Russians including tankriders and a machine gun unit this coming season. This is exciting news especially with the release of KC Berlin figures and the new Russians in 21st boxes and the T34s of FOV. I did some research on other WW2 Russian figures as I would lke to get some Russians to face my Germans. I noticed that KC released a full Stalingrad line some years back but they seem very hard to come by. I was wondering if anyone had these, and what they thought of them, in particular, the Russian figures and vehicles?
Also, I know KC is bigger, but would it be all that noticeable mixed into a diorama? Especially the lying down russians (im thinking the new Berlin machine gun) Anyway, I am curious to hear what you all think about this as I am thinking about getting some of these pieces.
On that note, if anyone knows where stalingrad KC are available, id appreciate a tip on where, cause I have had very little success snagging even photos of them, let alone places where they are sold.
Thanks guys
Bill

K&C Russians
Other than showing up on ebay, they are impossible to find. I have all the sets except the T34. Actually the first 3 sets of figures are not very good, however the last 3 sets are better.
I believe this was one of the first sets done by K&C when they went from the glossy and smaller size figures to the current matte finish and 60mm figures.
Also they are way to large to fit in with any other manufactuer.
As for the upcoming Berlin sets, they could be the best Andy has ever done.

I like those Russians
and I wish that they had more of them released. Too bad they are hard to come by now, I would love to collect them. I guess I will have to wait on ebay to deliver.
Does anyone have a comparison shot between Britains, KC, FOV, 21st?
I dont have a hobby shop near me and am not able to see the size difference in figures firsthand

THE RUSSIANS LOOK GREAT
I'm most impressed with K&C's Russian "Fall of Berlin" range. Some great figure poses. The vehicles also look good - particularly theT34 with the improvised anti-Panzerfaust protection of looted german iron bedsteads!

This is a great website that shows a Britains, K&C and FOV PZIV side by side. Check it out:

nice
Hey olifant thanks for the link. Thats a great comparison. The vehicles look pretty close, but the commander on KC you can tell is much bigger.
Too bad he doesnt just have standing figure comparisons of them. I'm debating on which to get into, having already decided to take the plunge into the expensive world of metal figures. I love KC detail but apparently they dont match up (I have not been able to see them with Brit or FOV etc). That would make my FOV armour pretty useless for any displays with KC.
PLUS, KC is coming out with all these new Russians in Berlin, but there are new russians for Britains now too. Ah, decisions decisions
OH well
