32XW Me-262 "Red B"...?

Post by ostketten » Fri Aug 31, 2007 5:22 am

My apologies if this has been dicussed before.... just found this at a DC metro area TRU, I have pretty much discontinued buying AC in any scale but the paintscheme on this was striking, and they only had one so I decided to grab it. Just wonderd if this is a new or relatively recent release?? I don't see it at any of the big name online retailers, but my Govt. job keeps me so busy these days I just don't have time to keep up with all the new releases and discussions etc. Any info appreciated, click on pic to enlarge. Thanks.

"Red-B"

....... Yeah ,.. I bought one of these too "ostketten" , last month , along with when I found all those PaK-Tracks real cheap @ TRU also.

I went ahead and picked up the OD "Firefly" , P-51B/C "Bull Frog" , and new Italian sets while I was there. ... It was a TRU Haul ! ,.. indeed.

........ Yeah , the "Red-B" is different.

None of that stuff at all in any of the TRU's around here, at least that I have seen thus far, and the lack of any of the new playsets was a major disappointment for me, since these were primarily what I was after. Anyway, the mere presence of any 21C stuff in a local TRU is encouraging considering that it has all but disappeared from many DC area WM stores.

I picked one up about 4 weeks ago in TRU's. I have to say its the best scheme so far for the ME262.

Made my purchase at a local TRU today, and only one left on the shelf, too....timing is everything.

Thanks for the tip on this Sturmvogel!!

Picked one of those up a couple of weeks ago, it's frickin' sweet. The paint scheme is really eye-catching. My only complaint, this is the only one of the 5 262s I have that the engines are not exactly level with each other. No big deal, though.
