Mine Stomper vVv

Post by MG-42 » Sun Nov 11, 2007 9:33 am

Actually a mine detenator , "MINENRÄUMER" , but I like to call it the "mine stomper". A 3-wheeled tractor the Germans used on the Eastern Front at Kursk in 1943 , to detenate land-mines.

* I had a 1/35 scale Polish model kit of this unusual exotic vehicle.

* Imagine this in 1:18 , utterly unrealistic by any sense.

All of those vehicles on that one page are absolutely, incredibly, a**-ugly. I LOVE THEM!!!!

Man, one of those would be righteous in 1/18, because of all the sci-fi conversion potential. Especially, that big nasty-looking Krupp's truck. Nice, very nice.

there were some sci fi wehrmacht armoured fighting suits made in 1/20 scale. I can't remember the name of the line but i see them on ebay from time to time. They represent the wehrmacht of the future. This Waffenträgerschreitpanzer would fit in nicely with those. Rather fanciful but imaginative.

was that walker real?? The site makes it seem like it was. That would make some cool Star Wars equipment.

No the walker was not real just hypothetical, sort of a What If.
Aferguson, I remember those 1:20 scale kits but I can't remember who made them.
