It is ok, and prices are a frequent topic of discussion. You might want to look on ebay to gague how much certain items are selling for. I have found that when dealing sales directly on the forum, I tended to get more of a response if the item was cheaper... For example, I once offered a 21c retooled P-51 in the "Petie 2nd" markings for sale. I wanted $45 for it - which wasn't a bad deal considering its online price - but didn't get any takers. Its just the crowd, I guess, and I wouldn't blame them
So again, ebay may be your best bet to gague how an item may be priced, then try to put it up on the forum for sale and see what happens. If someone out there really wants the item, they'll get it!

What Tman said. And remember, ebay prices are just that - ebay prices. If that is the price you are aiming for then I suggest you list it there and post the link so any interested members can have a hand at it.
I sell stuff here sometimes for a few reasons - people are looking for something, and I have more than one (often more than 2

).
OR I don't want to bother with ebay fees, listing, cranky buyers, etc...
Also, it often takes me a while to get stuff out and guys on here are great about understanding that so overall I just don't ask or expect ebay prices when I post for sale here, or for trade.

I figured that selling lowball is the way to go. I really don't need to seell the stuff but the room for other sizes and the $$ would be nice. I'm not looking to get ebay prices but don't want to give it way either. the RAF Spit for instance... maybe $50 into it, $100 ebay... figure $75?
yup

I think that is a good way to look at it.
