Rocket pods on 21c Hueys

I have seen several pictures recently of the rocket pods included with the 21c Huey (both the Easy Rider and 1st Air Cav. versions), and they are upside down. You can see the original here:

At first, I thought it was just mine that had this, er, rather “peculiar” feature, but there are folks on e-bay displaying their out-of-the-box Hueys with the same glitch:

The worst part is some people don't seem to realise they're attached in the wrong possition:

Question is: Is this another major screw-up or am I missing something?

my first Huey was the CIA version and it came with the crazy pods but my Hoghead came with the pods corrected. I dont use em on the Air America one anyway.
