I just arrived home from the show and saw some pretty interesting stuff from 21st and BBi. For starters, I saw the 1/32 Phantoms on display and they are sharp. They said to look for them in the 1Q of 2008. Also at the show was a new development from BBi on an upcoming paint scheme for the F-16. Beleive it or not, they are coming out with a Thunderbirds edition in the next few months. So, save your money...
Oh, and I found a distibutor (can't recall the name) that will be manufactuing 1:18th V1's and the BEll X1. They said that they should arrive in hobby stores by next week.

V1's? as in flying bomb V1's? What stores will they be arriving in?

yes, the BUZZ bomb..All he told me was that it should be in hobby stores next week. IF they are not, he siad to ask your hobby store to order them. There are 2 versions coming out. One that is painted ans ready to assemble and one that is bare and ready for you to apint and assemble as you wish.

I remember from some time ago, their announcement of their 1/6 Pak, but nothing about it from anywhere else. From your link, I see that's what is still being announced. Nothing newer, although some of their internal links can't be found (being updated?) I was unable to find anything newer.
I really hope that they'll do this though. Their 1/72nd Maus was warmly reviewed and started a whole Reichswehr '46 trend.

Well I guess that I can scratch the V-1 off of the " must custom make before I die" list. I want one. Maybe both. The Bell was almost on the list but it had to beat out the X-15 that will always be there.

can any of you find pictures of the V1 and Bell on that Pegasus website?

F-16 in USAF Thunder birds paint. I am down for a set of 6. I wonder if it will be a Bad Cat exclusive like the Blue Angels?
On the V-1 and Bell X-1.... Never heard of that company before. Hope it gets made. I would get the painted versions for sure.

Just confirmed with Tom @ Pegasus Hobbies...
Next week a 1:18 V-1 buzz bomb will be available in painted and unpainted versions.
In Feb 2008 they should have the 1:18 Bell X-1
They are also doing a 1:18 Gee Bee model Z Racer.
He also said a V-2 rocket would be available next week. But in 1:48 scale.
Sorry no pictures available.
I will try to do a pre-order via e-mail and if I get a response I will post it here.

The price is an important thing to know. I don't want to commit to a product before I know how much it is going to run. But, I am very excited at the idea of a GeeBee.

Good looking stuff, thanks. The 88 is a must have for me, I'm reserving increasingly limited ground space for it. Did the rep give any reason that the stab's have a black upper surface? Actually the drop tanks being black also?

And the GeeBee, great find, thanks very much.

Wow, the detail on that 88mm is unreal. What a beauty, and the nightfighter ME262 is great looking also.

WOW is right! That 88 looks great and the Nightfighter is fantastic. Cool V-1, I'm going to need one of them to hang next to my Spitfire. Oh and is that a King Tiger?

Dang, I'll need a few of them... even if I've got to paint it.

Very nice I like this Tiger. Wonder which paint scheme they'll start with.
Grognard, thanks for the links.

I personally think the V-1 is must have for any 1:18 collector. *
...... + I think the ( S-1 ) KT will be an
"ambush" paint-scheme. *

all delicious looking stuff. Did we find out what the V1 is made out of and what the price tag is? Nice to see someone new entering the 1/18 aircraft arena.
The drop tanks on the 262 are black because the whole underside is black. Top of horizontal stabs is supposed to be camo'd like the rest of the upper surfaces, as far as i know; perhaps that is a prototype error or perhaps it is indeed correct....Roy is usually on the ball about stuff like that.
