Cool, I got my green Zero when they were first released. It is a must have for 1:18th scale fans. I wonder if this model will make it to TRUs?

Wonder if they might have any in time for the ihobbyexpo?

this is good news for many...the people who were paying $300+ on Ebay might not think it's such good news.
Mike has said repeatedly that the green zero will be available at TRU.

Them being at TRU at somepoint would likely explain the low price point. Need to move a lot fast before they go mainstream.
Either way, very cool news and a great price..
Is it any different from the original? Even slightly...?

All around good news for collectors that didn't get one of these.

structurely it's identical to the Pearl Harbor version. The only difference is the paint job; but it makes it look like a whole different airplane and it's a very important addition to any WWII plane collection, especially since it's the only Japanese plane we have right now.
I made mine into a kamikaze version, complete with underfuselage bomb i customed up and a heavily weathered paint job. I may get another one to represent a regular fighter version.

Great news on the reissue. I missed getting one the first time around and never thought a second opportunity would exist at a reasonable price. Thanks for sharing.

Hmm... I recently wanted to get the green BBI Zero (having missed out on it the first time around) as it would go better with my BBI Hellcat and Corsair with its mid-late war paintscheme than would my "Pear Harbor" version in the early war scheme. I just might have to place a preorder

Yeah that green Zero is an awesome piece. Tankgirl bought me one earlier this year and we both love it. It is very well constructed. Also the pilot is a great fig as well.

Great news! Now finally I may be able to get one since I missed out on getting it the first time around.

It seems from the picture to be the exact same green Zero as before. Am I right? Or is this a slightly different painted green Zero?

I don't think I've ever seen a picture of the Zero pilot on this forum. Does anyone have one to post?

However, BBI have told me as recently as yesterday that neither Zero or Kiowa will be available at TRU or Target. Make of it what you will.

Out of all the GPXD'ers threatening to build one, maybe one will finish it now.

I definately would buy a pair of those!! If I see the Green Zero, I will get it for sure. It's one of the few repaints that's worth the purchase at this advanced phase of collecting, IMHO. It fills a critical mid to late war niche...
