I'm very happy with 21st's 1:18th products! I've been making models for many years... 1:72nd, 1:48th, 1:32nd... as the years have moved on the scale has gotten larger for me. Its odd, as you get older your eyes start to go but you now can afford larger scale models.
Well, when I got into 1:16th/1:15th things changed............. figures could run from $20.00 to $35.00/w dio base and armor $300.00 and up.
The first time I saw a 1:18th Panther I was hooked!, then the aircraft and figures.
I think the biggest problem we have is to many of US want to much. If we were all model builders... new products would be out before our model kit was built.

I can't agree more!!! For figures and smaller vehicles I'd recently gone to 1/6 for very much the same reason I'd earlier gone to 1/18 since the decades old 1/72nd I use to build. Anyone here remember Allyn, Frog, Renwal, Airways, Aurora, or the aircraft they use'd to build, the Bristol 138, DeHaviland Triplane, Bristol Bullitt, Mig 15(that was more Ta-263, before Luft "46 became voque and showed Aurora wasn't that far off), the 3 ship B-17 dio that had them dropping bombs. I very much miss the gazzilion models that didn't survive my move to AK.
That also means I have no patience for any company that expends time, energy, and money to attack others that seek to provide what we would like to see in this hobby. Why not just work on getting this stuff to us?
I am also very happy with 21c's offerings, but the available market is bigger then them as FOV as shown.
Let everyone benefit.

Well, I don't worry about 21st or 1/18 XD either.
I don't collect planes, 32x or 1/6. My focus is clearly on XD figures and armor. And I think we can be very happy about the schedule for the coming months.
- 88
- King Tiger
- Platoon figures
I think thats an impressive list compared to what 21st released in the last few years. Also tko mentioned that there will be new WWII figures soon with new sculpts and these second pair of legs. I'm looking forward to this new figures and I hope there will also be that many new releases in the coming years.
