found a source for XD shipping boxes

not a bad price but you have to order 15 minimum, plus shipping. $1.53 each. just tried fitting a BBD P-51 into a sample and there is about an inch of space on all sides, just right for a layer of thick bubblewrap.

Shipping boxes are something most of us collectors need at some point and quite often something we don't have, or at least don't have in the right size...

I have a local box store that sells boxes very close to that and they fit both 21st and BBi aircraft.
- 12x12x26
- 12x12x36
and they cost $1.00 for the 26"
and $1.05 for the 36" and I typically use butcher type paper that this box store sells by the 500ft roll for $9.95 and it lasts forever!

So far I've been lucky enough to find large sized boxes at my local WM's to ship planes I've sold over the internet. However, I'm finding that tracking down these large sized boxes is getting more diificult each time I need one for shipping. Those U-Line boxes are perfect! Thanks for sharing. Will save me alot of time box hunting.

great find - ive thought going to one of the many renta-box stores but always forget - they dont really rent boxes - just other stuff.
