Use the above link and search for 1/18th scale kits - and you get Hobby Boss releasing a 1/18th scale Dauntless. Two versions to be produced.
I think we're entering the 1/18th kit phase......

Interesting. I wonder if it's going to cost several hundred pounds like the other 18th scale kits they list..

No I doubt that- those other models are copies of the HpH models that are so revered. Hobby Boss are into injection plastic - some of their stuff ends up as the Easy Model line of planes and helicopters. This one'll be affordable I'm sure or I'll eat my Admiral Dauntless when it comes out...

could be interesting if affordable 1/18 model kits start to be produced; great ramifications for both aircraft and armour..

Just so long as they don't require a lot of glue. I'm kinda partial to my screwdriver. 8)

I like the idea of being able to customize these things while we put them together!

I agree...

Models would offer a lot more in terms of "interior" detailing too, in terms of armor. I'm intrigued.

Now Hasbro, make us some Head Sculpt & Endor Uniform variations! The new Rebel Fleet Trooper gets the JJ Seal of Approval Though!

Especially if they provide kits for the holes in our hobby!

Like a P-39 Airacobra or a Skeeter!
