Me262

Post by MG-42 » Sat Sep 08, 2007 10:59 am

I think everybody is waiting on the "night-fighter" , considering most bought the AT ( S-1 ) "white 8" version instead , when it first came out. 8)

.... but I waited to get mine on clearance first.

That's what I'm doing

I got my AT ME-262 and while it lacks some of the finer details of the 21c version, those details are not that major to me to warrant another purchase. To me, the AT and 21c plane are very similar and share more in common than do most of the other aircraft doubles, like the AT & 21c F-86s, the 21c & BBI P-51s, and the 21c and BBI Corsairs. Still, the 21c ME-262 looks great and I guess that means the night fighter variant will be even better 8)

I'm going with this version, the night-fighter will be cool no doubt but I like the camo scheme and defense of the Reich rings.
The pilot does look good as well. I've got a spot for it in the "museum".

I really didn't care too much for the white 8 when it came out. But I am waiting for the white 7 to come down on the price and the night fighter to be released. I really like the paint scheme on the white 7 and the figure looks much better than the white 8 one :D

So, yes, keep the pilots coming! :)

Totally keep the pilots - they are a selling point for me! It is even better when the plane comes with the correct number of pilots/flight crew instead of just one figure. The 21c Stuka and Avenger are great examples of that

All my aircraft have pilots in em, just looks odd (at least the hanging planes) with no one in them.
