repaints

What are these repaints I keep seeing on ebay of the DAK troops and the camo D-Day German soldier
Series 2 which is sold at TRU. Most figures wind up with a few repaints. I hope to see more than Otto and the DAK guys repainted, especially the god awful radiation burned skin.
