Lindberg models had a 1:32 D-Day model kit that included a crew and soldiers.I would love to see something like that in 1:18.Maybe a driver and some gear..or some beach obstacles.

I'd like a battery powered R/C Higgins boat in 1/18.

Double the fun!

I've always been surprised at the lack of an LCVP. Reasonable size, high on cool factor and they'd make a fortune from the extra figure sales alone! You gotta know that most guys are going to want to (eventually) cram it full of 36 troops...

I think when winter comes around here in Western Maryland I'm going to try and make my own higgins boat if I can get the correct scaled down measurements...

This may do:

To convert to 1/18 scale just convert all the dimensions to inches then divide by 18.

I was thinking of building one out of plastic but I was just wondering is there some kind of sheets of plastic that i can buy and cut? Higgins boats are pretty much square so I dont think it will be to hard to do...

hobby shops sell plastic sheet of varying thicknesses. The largest sheets are usually a pretty good size too..

Guess i might have to build one too. But if 21st century made one they would make a fortune  The higgins boat is just awsome :D Plus what collection is complete without a higgins boat
