Those are pretty good shots of it. That thing sure is a beast. Wish I could afford one.

Good gosh, it is a thing of beauty, isn't it! So tempting....
But I can buy several XD or bbi for the price. Even so, if it was 1/18 instead of 1/16, I probably would've gone for it.

I don't know if it's just me but the tank body looks high off the tracks. The drive sprocket and rear idler wheel look too far up as well. Other than that it looks impressive.

Boy, oh, boy it sure looks nice! I guess I'm trying to decide how much I want to put on my credit card!
Even if the paint job is a bit off (as has been said elesewhere), it still looks beautiful!

Hey Zartan, that was exactly my thought after viewing these pictures!
Besides the goofy paint scheme, the wheels don't look right! The front drive sprocket should cover a bit of the front road wheel but in the pictures there's even a small gap between the drive sprocket and road wheel. The drive axle also looks to be too high giving the track a strange angle and making the tank sit way too high. Most pics show the bottom of the skirts at about the top of the road wheels. For that kind of money I would expect them to get it right...nice beast other than that...
Maybe bbi can give us a plastic King in 1/18!!! I would also love a Hetzer.

The main problem for me is the scale - I collect 1/18, period.
Second, for 300 bucks it should be PERFECT, and clearly, it's not.
It is good evidence of how expensive armor will sell, and I truly believe a similar (improved?) offering in 1/18 for $100 would sell like crazy.

You guys raise a good point: at that price the model should be perfect. I've checked my books on German armor and it appears that what you've said about the wheels is spot on.
No wonder I'm hesitating....even holding off!
