Just saw those about 30 seconds ago and you beat me to it

Great recon! A most unexpected release. I thought we would see the 1.5 ton truck eventually, but I never guessed this quickly.
Dodge 1 1/2 ton Truck:

WC-57 Command car, de-Pattonized, but including figures of the general and his driver nonetheless:

Hummer - same configuration as previous, but more accurate-with-the-times desert scheme:

One just can't keep up with this hobby. I barely have the space for another armored vehicle and that 1/2 ton truck looks awesome! We need some more basic US Army troops that aren't specifically themed - like the 1st series XD troops, but with better articulation. That way we have something to put in the 1 1/2 ton truck besides crates!

Holy frippin' crumbs!!!!! Was bored sitting at work and thought about posting a poll about which would happen first - a Zero, The WC63, or Hades freezing over, and look what we get!! What driver does he come with? Will this be at Walmart?
Man, I'm just speechless. This is awesome.

Hallelujah!!!! I cant beleive the troop carrier is now upon us!!!
I had to order all three vehicles just to beleive it! I was wondering if
I would see more pictures at this year's New York Toy show of a troop truck with no delivery in sight. What has it been, three years???

wow....and they're not even on preorder....theyre IN STOCK. That is neat.
Here's to many more such nice surprises..
Can someone give a bit of a history of the dodge command car. What were they used for specifically and in what theatres etc? I must confess i didn't even know they existed until 21c made a model of one.

I am holding off on the truck until someone confirms the troops can actually sit in the seat instead of float in the seats. I was dissapointed in the halftrack when my series 1 guys floated in their seats. Other than that I think I will get one. Let us know when someone checks! Thanks.

Trying to decide whether to order one or not! It looks to be a cool vehicle, and will be able to carry alot of troops or Build-a-Rama accessories, but still, do I really need a truck?
I am very curious to know what the driver looks like. For what ever reason, I suspect that it may be the BoB Jeep driver, but then anything is possible.
YES

C'Mon Tman - of course you need a truck! What outfit doesn't need supplies?
Besides, more Tiger fodder

Do I need a truck?
1) Bomb/Straffing target for your airplanes
2) Cannon fodder for tanks
3) Beer truck for the troops.
C'mon Tman!

This is great news! But with the QC problem 21st has shown with almost every new release, I'll have to wait until I see these in person, or at least read a couple of reviews, before I order. Crossing my fingers that these vehicles don't have lots of problems....

Is this the exact same command car? Did the Patton version have the armour over the radiator?

Only difference with the command cars are:
First release had the flags and three red stars all over it and No figure
This one has no flags or red stars and is said to have two figures, one being Patton himself. In the picture it looks as if the 50 cal on the side is missing. I wondering if this one will be fully painted?
Odd, IMO the first one should have had the Patton with driver.

Well, I broke down and bought a 1 1/2 ton truck from BCA, and it should arrive in a couple of days. I also ordered some crates and oilbarrels from Build-a-Rama to go in the back. There's no personal need for the WC-57 (I have the origional with a Patton figure in it) or the desert Hummer. Still they're both nice products and for those of you that haven't gotten them, they are worth it. Now I'm curious as to how interesting this new truck will be!

You're not the only one who is curious about the Dodge trucks. I'm sure all who ordered will be taking a closer look once they arrive. I just hope the QC isn't lacking on these items.

I received my WC63 1 1/2 Dodge today. The driver is a 1st series figure with a jeep cap and accessories. Overall I think it's great. I haven't tried to remove the bed cover but I think it's glued. I put Patton in the back to see how the figures sit. They sit well but their heads are crammed into the top cover. Anyway, I'm glad I got one.

Nice

Thanks Bill for the quick review
That's great that you get a throw-back figure; a lot of people missed those guys.
Can't wait to get home and set up a line of M4s, M3A3s, Trucks, Jeeps and a CC, then park a Tiger off in the distance and....

Kurt, I already have Patton's command car so I didn't bother. You got a
M-16 with your command car?? If so, that is a big oops at 21st. Bill
