So ,.. is the "PaK-Track" , the last one in the series of Hanomags to be produced ?
I believe it is , and if I remember correctly , 21st. or "tko211" said it was , and after this , it's going to be retired.
More re-paints perhaps ? ... I hope it's not completely over , as I still think there are at least a few more neat variants left to do , both U.S. & German.

i hope it's just the last for now. Lots of other versions they could do, including an aa version with drilling.

I wouldn't mind if the production of halftracks came to a temporary halt as there are alot of other military pieces yet to be made, although if it continued in the form of repaints, I wouldn't complain.

Yes I would also love to get my hands on this half track before they are retired, but I have a feeling I wont be getting it.

We need a pimped out Hanomag with flames along the sides, a body kit, NOS, 24 inch chrome road wheels, a 5000 watt sound system, gigantic exhaust tips and a huge wing on the back. It would be dubbed the Hanomag Type R.
It would come with a limited edition action figure, Werner Von-Vtec.

I'd like to see the Infra-red equipped "UHU" night fighter d.Kfz 251/20 Ausf D version made! This would make a great hunter killer combo with the Pak40 equipped Sd.Kfz 251/22 Ausf D

Dude you forgot about the ground effects and the bounce kit. Everytime on the up swing you could fire a rocket. It would be real cool to have during rush hour traffic.
Kirk Douglas : Mine hit the ground first
John Wayne : Mine was taller

What we need is a flammen hanomag. The one with the flamthrowers on the side

Not sure if that is what it is called

Then hanomags retire but wouldn't mind for a repaint or two

A Sdkfz 250 would be a nice alternative. That or if 21C didn't want to spend money on a completely new mold, they could always run a Sdkfz 251 Ausf C. An Ausf C along with a PaK 38 would go really well with the new DAK troops.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.

When did we hear it would be retired? I could see a hiatus but why would they ever say never?

The P-40 Hanomag is the last version / variant in this series. However, I would expect that we might see other schemes offered on all the hanomags somewhere down the road.
As Digger has already pointed out, it seems logical that the hanomags will take a break here in the latter part of the year. Though the molds are not really slated to "retire".
Looking ahead, the following items are due to release as the next wave of gound pieces later this year.
88 Flak Gun
Quad Trailer
King Tiger
On Monday you will all get to see the first test shots (plastic) of the 88! I just got the first pictiure.... You guys are going to DIE when you see this monster! This piece will DEFINE the term Xtreme Detail!

woohooo......bring on the 88! I've already got plans for six of them.
You know, i was just playing with...er, studying my M16 and i was thinking how great an sdkfz 7/1 with flakvierling would look. Now that an 88 is coming out surely a sdkfz 7 can't be too far behind. They'd sell piles of them to tow all the 88's they're going to sell, and piles more just as troop carriers for all the great german figures they've got.
Once there's a sdkfz 7, can a 7/1 version with flakvierling be too far behind? A simple mod to make a kick ass vehicle. After that, a 7/2 with 37mm flak and armored cab, again a simple mod. hooo yah.

Absolutely !
I see no excuse why they can't crank out these variants , especially the SdKfz. 7 , to tow the infamous 88.
Come on 21st.Century Toys ,.. Surprise us and make us all happy.
I just can't imagine an 88 , without the SdKfz. 7 "Famo". ... These two were meant for each other.

THE WORLD NEEDS a 1:18 SdKfz. 7 , NOW !

I must admit the Hanomag is one of my personal favorite German vehicles. I love how 21C has adapted and reused their molds to give us a few great variants on the same platform. I think this has done well for them and I would love to see more adaptive reuse like this in the future.
Right now there are plenty of Hanomags around. If there are no more showing up this year, I can probably live without for a while but I would like to see some repaints in the future.
I would love to see a SdKfz. 7. I think that’s one of the next items 21C should be producing.

I must say I’m a little surprised this one hasn’t come up on the must have list before. 21C has the 32X version already. I think this one is a must in 1:18.
Hey TKO, any possibilities on seeing this one in the future?

I agree

A sdkfz.7 would be nice

They also need a AA gun too.

We also need a U.S halftrack with a 75mm gun
