Howdy
Was wondering if the Bradley's tend to have any resale value? I had a loose S1 that I hauled to the flea market for four weeks and was asking $15.00. It was in great shape, but no figure, needless to say no one bought it ,so I gave it to a friend of mine to take to a different market. He hauled it around for several weeks asking $10.00 ,No Sell. He told me this past weekend he finally got $5.00 for it

I don't know if there are not that many XD collectors around here are what, but $5.00 for a 1/18 item is crazy. Maybe John Q Public just doesn't like Bradleys.

You might have done better putting it up for auction on the internet. The Bradleys are not one of the popular vehicles among the XD collectors, but they are worth at least the $15 you originally asked. I personally would have taken it off your hands immediately at that price.

Maybe you were not using the correct market. Few flea markets have a big military presence, most are people looking for bargains, not the good stuff we look for.
Usually a single "Army Navy" type dealer is all you will find. A better market for us is a flea market associated with MVPA show, or an air show.
$5 for a Bradley is a crime........

I know a few friends that would have paid $40+ for a Bradley as I have had offers from them. Next time, just post it in the Buy, Sell, Trade section.

I couldn't agree more TTT,But the market that my buddy goes too is loaded with military collectors coming thru. Shoot back in the good ol days it was nothing to find something from the Rev War or the Civil war there. Before Ebay of course.. I don't do shows too much anymore, it has been several years since I went to a gun show and two years since my last military vehicle show

I would have gladly spent $15 on it (I've spent at least that much just to get a single figure)

it would sure have been nice to have been the $5 guy, lucky SOB, that's almost like giving it away.
I agree that next time use the Buy, Sell, Trade section of this sight as I am quite sure someone from here (like me) would have taken it of your hands , if you get no hits at $15 (which is unlikely) then just drop the price until someone makes an offer.

You just might have better luck with ebay. As for the vehicle not being that popular, it tough to say. The Bradley is, in my opinion, the best piece of 1:18 modern armor out there - especially the S2 version in the accurate desert markings. I can see where the S1 "Woodland Cammo" version looks a little toyish and that may throw off some prospective buyers at a flea market...

Yes I have, I came over when the Ground Pounders board disbanded. I had not posted anything here for awhile because I had forgotten my password. It's alot like the deal with the photos I sent you, I just sat on my butt a didn't get a new one. I had looked under the members names and found mine , it had me as not posting anything plus my good traders feedback was not there. I wrote Aferg and ask him about it. He said that as far as he knew nothing from the GP site was transferred over here. So I started from scratch, I thought it would be the best thing to do. If anyone can shed some light on the subject, I would be glad to hear it.
