Absolutely take the tour of the USS Midway. I went there during the Con in 2005 and it was fantastic.
It is very close to the convention center.

John:
Glad to hear the Midway is being taken care of. I rode the "Midway Maru" when i was stationed in Yokosuka many years ago, and it was hard to see her go. Many good times aboard that "Lady".

BBI had a small booth there but with mostly fantasy/anime stuff and the same small display for 1/32 SBD, f-4 and 1/18 Hellcat that I had posted before from the AWOH show. Although I did see the new Indiana Jones figs, not really my cup of tea but they did look pretty cool. Also came across a new company (new to me anyway) maybe some here has heard of them PLAN B Toys

They have a series of WWII figs that are pretty cool , Picked up the limited edition Easy Co. 506TH para and 101ST Airborne Officer. They look to be about 1/10 - 1/12 I think. They also had a Recon Jeep with driver that looked awesome but I dont see it in there website.

So BBI was there? Cool. And they displayed their Hellcat, 1/32nd SBD and F-4? At least they showed up. I heard there was alot of TF stuff at the Con. To bad I missed out on it but I'm saving up for the big Mustang gathering coming up.

You now that you mentioned it, it probably was Merit. They failed to to put up banners to identify themselves like everyone else.

oh well at least they had some representation as opposed to 21st or Admiral, which would have been nice. Next stop Dragon Expo 07!

Yes! I love the Hellcat with the sharksmouth. Please make that scheme.
