They've carried 21C online for a while now, just not in the actual stores unfortunately.

I can agree with that

Walmart
Greetings:
Walmart just by their business nature and business model and expansion into such a large retailer can outsell anyone on anything. I recently bought printer ink there for $12 and change where at Staples the same ink costs me $14 and change. However, I usually go to Staples as I get teacher rewards and that is a good return.
The thing I found with Walmart though is that they always don't have the items. For example sometimes they have the ink and sometimes they don't, and usually if I am buying ink I need it, so that is a bummer. So I usually get my ink at Staples. They always have it.
Pros and cons I guess.

Corey, great points you make. I always say we should think of the WM price as the discount price of these items, not what we expect them to cost everywhere else. You also point out that they are often out of stock, perhaps a result of being spread thin among many stores and sold at a discount - this too relates to our toys.

Guys, it's OT, but I'll freely admit Wallyworld has spoiled me. I dislike WM but after going there looking for our toys, Mrs. TTT and Ms. TTT were with me and discovered their low prices, which aren't even sale prices, everything from computer ink to cereal. Little stuff kills me, Absorbine Jr, $3, in WM, $6 anywhere else. My favorite cereal, $2.79 in WM, $4 elsewhere, even my favorite socks, two pair for $6 in WM, $9 a pair even the lowest price on "the net".
AND they carry 21C, whatever the price. Of course, 21C pickins were slim in my AO near Staten Island, and are not even carried in my local WM in South Jersey........I hate Wally making me go there. I sure look forward to 21C going back into TRU....and Target???? great, bring it on....

Sometimes I am the windshield, sometimes, I am the bug.
Has this been made at least (semi)official? Is 21c indeed going to be available at both TRU and Target? While these other stores now appear to have made room for 21c, has the contract with Walmart definately been closed? Here in Tampa there's about 5 WMs, and two Targets within an eight mile radius. Two more Targets are goin' up this year. The TRUs however are still a trek. Regardless, if 21c were indeed to be made available at all three I think I might need to sit down with the wife and finally admit my addiction and how this new development might create some inherently serious problems.
It seems odd to me that Target's price for 21st Century Toys' online are so high. Most of the time Target's in store prices are pretty close to Walmart's prices. At least in the toy isle. While not as large an outfit as Walmart, Target is a pretty good size mover of merchandise that probably gets the same price break from wholesalers.

For me, Target's right around WM in price on everything I buy between the two and Target's predictability on sales/clearances makes them more appealing when looking for toys... Not to mention you have means to track/find out what's in their stores while WM is a little tougher nut to crack. I'd welcome Target getting things in. At the moment their basic SW figures are cheaper at Target while their vintage were $2 or $3 more than WM. Wierd but Target's just as good and WM can be just as bad, it just seems to vary on the item.
At the same time, my WM never has half the stuff I want when it comes to food and things, so I generally shop for those items elsewhere. They have a much lower selection than our local large grocery chain (Giant Eagle), and the prices really don't vary much between the two... I'm further ahead going to GE where I know they'll have what I want and not have to make two trips for household items and food.
Toys though... Well, you're just stuck going to the other retailers I guess.
