Small Scale Military Headquarters

I just seen the pictures of the new bbi civil war figures, and I am so excited about these, the details are remarkable, can't wait to get them.

they do look good....i hope it paves the way for much more.

I like them too, hopefully they will make different poses so that we can make firing lines in battles.

technically they're 1/20 but i have the bbi knights and romans and they fit in just great with my other 1/18 figures

Yes, Foxholetoys.com has them listed as "Coming Soon"
They show Federal and Confederate troops, kneeling, marching and shooting. Plus they have cannon and troops on horseback.

A member of the Orphan's Brigade?

Matt at Foxhole told me they'd be out around September. Wish they did pre-orders.

I wonder if any of these have articulated limbs and can be posed differently?? Even if they don't, they still look good and my son will be begging for these.

It's directed at you buddy. The orphan's brigade was made up of Kentuckians who sympathized with the South and fought for the CSA.

No, Henry Frakes and his son (both in the same unit) fought on the Northern side. The Battle of Richmond (KY) was a disaster for the North. The Confederates rounded up scores of prisoners. Wierd thing about this was, a coworker and I were talking history one day. We got on the topic of the Civil War. He is from Indiana and he had a direct desendant in the 69th Indiana Infantry. His relative and mine fought on the same side of the same battle in 1862 His relative was captured and sent south to later be released in a prisoner exchange. My relative was wounded in the shoulder and carried the bullet in his arm till the day he died many, many years later.
Strange huh? Over a 145 years after a Civil War battle, 2 decendants of the soldiers meet at the same company. What are the odds of that??

I hope they expand this line, I don't mind the static poses, as long as they look good....if bbi does this line right, it's going to bring some small scale civil war boys over to this larger scale too.....now I can only hope for some Revolutionary war figures.

Working on that now.
1. I already have a British Brodies helmet proto type made.
2. Brtiish lewis gun figure started with jergin.
3. German M-16 helmet with the lug vents.
4.German figure 1918 style storm trooper uniform
5. Main body of an A7V with the master track link made and bogies 3/4 completed. I will bite the bullet and use pin heads for the rivets. This will be the hard way to do it . But sometime the hard way is the easiest.
