Hello guys I was wondering if there is any new word on the possibilities of the japanesse 1/18 WWII figures from 21st?
Also how are the marines figures in regards to a comparisson with the BOB figures?
which one is better in regards to articulation, painting, detail, and compatibility of being modified?
please keep me posted.

Japanese figures
I recall seeing a poster or something like that from a trade show that showed all the marines and I think four japanese figures. I am wondering if anyone else saw this and if so does anyone have a good picture of this. Because when I saw them at first the picture was so small that you could barely make them out. Lastely, Aferg, you sound confident that these figures are in the works. Do you have inside info? I would love it if 21st would post any info on the japanese figs on this site.
Yup
Check another thread for a close-up of the card back from the Marines - they're on there and I suspect we'll see them by summer, no reason to believe we won't.
Two guys on the back are identical, so I doubt the final product will look just as they do on the card. But they do look SWEET - especially the Machine Gunner.

Here's a link to the picture I took of the closeup of the back of the Marine figure card, which shows the Japanese troops. This was origionally posted in the USMC Finds and Discussion thread at the top of the 1:18 scale forum page.

Seeing these on the card is very strong evidence for these figures becoming a reality in a few months, or perhaps sooner! It may also give a strong push for the possibility of Japanese aircraft in the future.

Cool pictures!
I really hope that they make more figures...to me figures are the MOST important part of a collection.
With out troops, sailors, marines, or pilots the armaments don't work; therefore, I can't wait to get my hands on new figures!
keep me posted.
