I was in TRU today and saw a new r/c boat by new bright which is of a zodiac rhib (rigid hull inflatable boat) like the kind the navy seals use.

Here's a pic i found on the net:

It's at least 20 inches long, even comes in black. The boat has twin outboard engines. I'm not 100% sure navy seal boats have outboards or inboards but in this pic it looks like the boat has outboards:

Anyway, makes a cool alternative to the smaller BBI boat and costs about the same, these days.

Here's another picture of the same type of boat, showing it is clearly an inboard engine. Simple conversion for the new bright model to change it.

I've seen this one in WM, too, for like $30, and thought that it looks very close to 1/18 scale.

Agreed, it's time to look this up. My SEALs basically sit on a stand without anything to do really. They need a ride.

i forgot to mention that it's an r/c boat, ready to run. Could be fun buzzing around the lake, with a boat full of seals....glued in securely of course.
