Pearl Harbor P-40

Post by Sabrefan » Sun Jun 03, 2007 11:44 am

I was wondering who got the Pearl Harbor P-40 model. I saw both of them at Walmart, and I picked up on the other day. I have always liked the simple olivedrab and grey paint scheme of these early P-40s. And I like the early national star with the red dot in the middle. What do you guys think of this P-40 model? :D

I like it, but don't have one yet. If my Wal Marts would be nice and get some in, I'd probably get one

 Hi,
My Wal-Mart here in East Tn. had 2 each of these. I picked up a set on the way into work, thought I'ld pick the other two up on the way home, but was to slow on them, they had already been sold. These are great looking planes!!! I don't think you can go wrong with either plane!!!!

I've seen both versions for the two pilots and I like the color/detail. Definitely a must have!

The Pearl P-40's are a nice set of planes. They are simple schemes but the finished product looks so nice. There is a nice weathering of the panel lines and it's nice to have a P-40 with out stickers for the stars.

Yes TKO it is a great looking P-40. And the box looks so nice I almost hated to take the plane out of it. I took some pictures of mine outside, and it looks neat. I have always like the U.S. ARMY under the wings of these P-40s.

They are ignoring me. Not to worry. I had to go down to Houma again and I scored on both of the pear P-40's . Something finally went my way.
