Figure wishlist.

Post by tkjaer21 » Wed Apr 11, 2007 9:45 am

It would be cool if one of the top 3 companies would actually give us figures from the different Armed Forces and organizations. They would be in their respective uniforms. I personally would like to see all of the dress uniforms (non-combatant) to be made. Both males and females would make for a great seller. The uniforms could be from all different eras and countries. What do you think.

I can't see any market for a display of 1/18 figs in formal or dress uniforms. At that point we're talking about a collector so specialized he want figs that do nothing but stand there and look pretty.

Can't see any more than a few 1/18 collectors wanting that, besides, lf course, tjkaer21.

BTW, dress uniforms have been made in 1/6 figs and never sold near as well as combat figs.

Just going to post that  :D

I think we already have way too many American figures, need a new army, and that army's aircraft and armor too.

Some more German figs wouldnt hurt too.

I also would like to see Russians and British. But I feel as Razor, any new figures would be a great change. :D

I agree with the fact that figures in dress uniforms (outside of say, Germans) would not sell well as those in combat uniforms. There is simply more versatility.

I think it is absolutely necessary, however, that some company make WWII British and Russian troops!

I'd like to see (Russians, British, heck more Japanese!!)
I really like the figures offered with the multiple heads and the new head sculpts where it is super easy to remove the heads.

They are listening!

Keep giving us Germans and more Japanese - or at least 1-3 figures with many head change possibilities - you couldnt keep those on the shelves.

Oh I agree - north Africa British with little teacups
Brit Sherman and a Valentine are needed too!!

I recommend that you go into 1/6 and there you can have a lot more choices regarding dress uniforms and other figure items.

Havent seen this..

Post by lablksmith » Wed Apr 18, 2007 1:30 pm

I havent seen this mentioned before. I would like at least one figure for each group that lies down in a firing prone position. None of the figures out are capable of this now. I would think this would be a very neat addition and I know these were available in the soldier sets I had as a kid. What do ya think?

I can agree with this one. As well as a figure that is in a crouched position, be it for being posed behind a wall or vehicle or firing a heavy MG or similar.

Hey - I have called for exactly this for years which would come in the form of static legs. That would allow for a tight crouch or prone position. Just as was done with arms, it should be done with legs. And I think it may be on the horizon - remember TKO talking about something new with the articulation on the upcoming figs.
