If they ever sell a 1/6 Blackhawk version I will definetely consider buying one....even if it is 1/9 I would still consider buying one.

I bought one of the 1/6 "little birds" for my son a few months ago. He (ok, and I) love it. I hang it from a tree in our backyard and with his 1:6 figures he has a blast. I prepped him for it in advance as we watched many of the shows on the military channel about helicopters and waited until he asked questions and I was convinced it was something he'd appreciate.

Even my wife thinks it's cool.

C21 do... or, rather, did.   I'm not sure they still make them.

21st Century Toys made it. There are some still available (usually on e-bay) although they can be expensive. I'd try some of the 1:6 websites such as one sixth warrior or sixth army group. From there go into the buy/sell/trade section(s) and I'm sure you'll find one there. Not unlike 1:18, this stuff gets out of hand and after hitting yourself on the head too many times it's time to put it on the market and so again they can indeed be found. I'm finding out now that wives appearently have a lot to do with enabling the selling of such items as well. Good luck on your hunt.

eBay is the ready answer for the 1/6 Little Birds. They pop up frequently, some times at very reasonable prices.

The key for a reasonable price is to try your search with every odd, off the wall, item description. Frequently the seller doesn't know what he has and descriptions can get crazy.

As far as I remember, 21C made two versions, one in black and one in OD green. I have the black, which I believe is the more common bird.

The killer here is the shipping. The box is very large.

It's a great item, especially with a crew.

I have mentioned this before but I modify these 1/6 birds and make them into ceiling fan light fixtures. It sounds odd, but the end result of having a 52" ceiling fan as the rotor blades with a helo hanging in the center of a room with lights is a show stopper. I have a few that I have done so far for friends/relatives for game, office or toy rooms and they have enjoyed them.
