Okay, I need some number, and would like everyone to help. I’m wondering how many buy more often from local or on-line stores? Also how many international buyers there are? And do you buy more from local or on-line, US on-line store or not? Please pick the one that suits you the best. If you have anything else to add just post a reply. I’ll have a few more to posts to gather other information I need later on. Thank you for your help and time.

Well, I pretty much buy from Military Toy Shop--but they are local to me so I just go and pick it up.

No choice but EBAY or online stores such as foxhole, badcat or smalljoes, plus a little help from some friendships I have formed in your country.
There is currently nothing to buy in 1/18. Buying wwii books instead to fill the void.
From along way away downunder.

Well, living in Belgium, most of my stuff are bought from eBay (don't know if it can be called on-line store).

I prefer to buy locally, but IF there is something I really want badly I will go to the online stores. I would buy online more if the shipping or the prices were not so high.

I didn't vote, because I'd almost say its equal. In dead periods like now, I end up picking up eBay auctions or shop online stores for items I've put off. Then, switch to local when they start stocking.

I pretty much stick to online shopping. I hate going to Walmart around here. They rarely have anything I'm interested and by the time they do its months late. So I usually shop at BadCat I like thier service and I normally get things two days after I order them.

Mostly ebay, and online retailers for me. Wallyworld doesn't have much selection, at least around here. I have scoped most the toy, and hobby store around and can't find much of anything.

If I would have half-decent Walmarts, then I would buy from WM, but seeing as I dont, Hello Badcat and Smalljoes!

I have only bought online when there is great clearance!! probably pick up a few AT items as they are not sold at WM - I have found everything at WM or TRU back in the early golden XD days.

I prefer to buy online, but regardless probably 80% of my collection I bought at local WMs. Anything that comes out online 1st I will buy that way.

I try WM for awhile and only buy online if it is on sale or I REALLY need it. I'm not gonna pay ten bucks or more than retail for an item plus shipping unless I REALLY need it.

I didn't vote because almost all my purchases in the last year has been from individuals on eBay. A few pre-orders from our online stores, but usually eBay.
It's a shame that WM's in my AO have almost nothing for us. It's like WM wants to destroy 21C sales

I tend to buy most of my XD stuff from "EL CHEAPO" WAL MART....
but for the 1/6 stuff, I go to the specialty "boutiques"...

Throw it all in a blender...and voila!!!
Momaw, you need another option there!
It's about half and half, maybe slight advantage to store, because I only buy 1:18 online, while I get a bunch in other scales in local stores. I think the few 1:18 a year that I get from WalMart tip the scale.

Almost exclusively local for me. I'll trade with a board member or find it on E-bay if I can't get it any other way.

I prefer to buy from local stores vs on line stores because they are usually much cheaper, you can look at your items before you buy, there is no shipping, and they usually are much more cooperative if you need to return it for some reason. When necessary, I use online or Ebay. Some good online places I am happy with and have used for years...Atlantic Toys, Classic Toy Soldiers, The Military Toy Shop, War Toyz. Loved Small Blue Planet...used them exclusively until they closed
. Have a couple bad experiences as well...I'll leave those out.
