Why do we not have a review list on 1:18 scale planes, armor and figs. The 1:32 and smaller have one. I think that it would be nice.

I worked with aferguson to set up the one on the 1/32 forum because it was getting hard to find reviews, especially as some very good ones were being done on new product. I am sure that one could be done very easily on the 1/18 forum, using the same format, and relying on forum members to add the links to existing reviews or as new ones are created.

The 1:32 reviews are nice and set a great template for the 1:18. I wish I had the knowledge on how to start a review. Otherwise, I would start the whole thing. I think it is important for new collectors getting into the hobby. A lot of us collectors that have about every piece out there would jut about buy anything. There are some good forum topics on one sherman vs. another for example. Maybe we could start with a poll of the best painted schemes that we have so far. A P-51 would be an excellent choice as there are so many by a couple of different companies.

Sounds like a great idea to me! Reviews are very helpful for other toys like GI Joes and Transformers. It's nice to know about any defects and problems before you shell out good money. I've also bought stuff I wasn't originally planning on getting after reading about how cool it is.

I think it is a great idea also

That's one of the reasons I like this board.
There have been a few pieces in the past that I have past on due to reading about problems or flaws, that other members were talking about here. This is such a good place to pick up information.

ok--a 1/18 review index has been set-up and "stickied" in the reference area--Aferguson thought it might get a little cluttered in this area with yet another sticky, and I tend to agree.
