I think they are comeing out this year, with the release of the F-4
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

TKO said in the thread on the F4 they were coming out this year, but whenever the question has been asked again, he doesn't give any more information. (Yes, TKO, we're calling you out :D ).

Personally, I'm hoping for a ComicCon release like the Japanese figures, if not sooner.

More light will be shed on this subject VERY soon. A new feature that has never been done has been incorporated into the Platoon figures. ITS VERY COOL. I am hoping that I can show some pictures soon. :D

Is it beer bottles, hookers, or cigs. Anyway, I can't wait to see what it really is. Maybe a cameraman fig. would be cool as well.

I lived thru that period ( 60's)... I think something other than beer and cigs would be more accurate...

Someone should get to work on a female figure with a "me love you long time" voicechip.

Yep, sound chip would be cool. Give me some Full Metal Jacket figures for that one "You climb walls......" and so forth.

I'm still betting these are released for ComicCon. I bet they'd sell big time. I'd even consider a San Diego trip for them. Even better, hey TKO - if these are released for ComicCon, I'd volunteer to help work the 21C booth just to make sure I could buy them. Open invitation, just need to give me some warning.

Ball-joint hips, that is my guess. They have alreally done the shoulders and more and more Star Wars figures and other lines are using ball-joints for the hips.

Ball hip would be very cool.

Please, please, please....let there be one enemy combatant in the series. If there is one thing 21C kicks everyone's bum on, its providing bad guys to whoop up on.

By the time these guys come out each figure will have a set of crutches or it will come with a wheelchair because these guys are so old.

Maybe the M-60 gunner can mount the gun on the wheelchair?

But you guys want cloth clothes? How about removable ammo clips? Ammo belts that come apart into individual bullets? Web sets made of real canvas? removable clothes and boots? changable heads and hands?

Oh, sorry, we already have all that.......in the "dark side" of 1/6. :!:

digger wrote:...The thigh is cool, but not essential. I am all for most articulation improvements, but not if it means the figures have to get bigger (Japanese) or lose detail. I really think the extra arms theory should be explored more, even with other body parts...This whole scene would be doable with some static legs mixed in, but never with just articulation.
