On the BBI website they show a mustang from the 335th FS with a duck on the side. Has this version ever come out or will it come out? Thanks.

The P-51 your referring to is that of Capt Donald Emmerson of the 4th Fighter Group. Yes that P-51 will indeed be coming out.

MM: If we all didn't know better, I would say you're making room for another P-51 in your collection!!! :P

Are you sure, MM, what is another mustang to add to your collection. I wonder of how many you have? Please tell.

My favorite 21st Century P-51 is the Tuskeege airman version. It is a nice looking paint scheme, and the pilot figure is really well done. :D

Well to answer your question. I have about an even dozen when it comes to Mustangs. Some are on display and some are in boxes. They are all 1/18th. Yes its hard to believe but true. Like I said the only other 2 Mustangs I want is Old Crow and BBD then the door is officially closed.

The best in my view? First I thought BBI's Mustang was the best then the New Tool Mustang came out from 21st. Its hard to pick between the 2 because they both have such excellent points and they have some bad things so its hard to choose. I guess I have to say I'm happy with both companies versions. If there was only one Mustang to have in my collection it would be Old Crow from 21st and thats only because its a very historical P-51.

I hope this answers your questions.

There is a P-51 painted in that scheme.

It is owned by Bob Tullius of Group 44.
Yes Group 44 that raced TR-250/TR-6 and GT-6/Spitfire Triumph sportscars.

I met him and his 51 in Texas, and I had the TR-250 I had just restored.
I didn't know he flew a Mustang until someone introduced us. 8)
