Small Scale Military Headquarters

I was wondering about this pilot tube thing. I know this will sound stupid, but where is this thing and what is it? I'm normally an armor guy, but this plane was cheap and I'm wondering what version I have. I haven't removed it from box, so would this pilot tube be visible from the window? Thanks for any help.

It is not a "pilot" tube, it is a pitot tube. Most spell checkers pick it up as a mistake and suggest pilot, which is why it is so often spelled wrong. Here is a good definition: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitot_tube

Pitot tube - air gets rammed into it as the aircraft moves with the air pressure working the airspeed indicator - so that the pilot knows how fast he is going. The tube is located on the wings or on the nose (as in many jets) so as to be out of the way of the prop (or jet) wash and get an accurate reading.

Is the flight 19 avenger supposed to have the pitot tube?

Technically, air doesn't get "rammed into it." It is more about the pressure differential that is at the point.

Is the Avenger pitot tube a simple version or static version? It is hard to tell from the source in wiki.
