Will we see the B-25 in 2007?

What do you guys think. Will we see the 21st Century B-25 this year? Yes or no? :D

If I had to guess I would say yes. I’m thinking since they announced it “un provoked” that they were further along with it than the F-4. The F-4 was announced early for strategic reasons.

Well, to me the Avenger was a bit more complicated even if the B-25 is bigger. Those wings on the Avenger must have been a nightmare to design. I think Christmas or sooner 07.

Well being that 21st has a track record of releasing news on an upcoming new item and then taking forever to complete it or not making it at all. For instance the 1/4 scale Humvee and willys jeep or the 1/6th scale Panzer III. And how long did we know about the Avenger befor it actually started showing up on WM shelvs. It would be better to wait till the item is in transit from China to make the anouncment unless they had to beat some other company to the punch.

I say yes, simply because our 21C correspondent stated (I Believe) in a post last year that anything we see announced on the 21C Website is in it's final production and soon to ship. I think it may even be before Christmas if that is the case. The Doolittle Raid anniversary is on April 18, 1942. It would be very nice, but maybe soon thereafter. Doesn't anyone else remember him saying something like that about the timing? The Avenger was just a long wait and I bet that 21C does not want to mess around like that again.

I think it'll be a late 07 release. Also wouldn't be surprised if a Mosquito was announced soon either...

I would love to say 2007, but I think 2008 is the more logical choice. There will undoubtedly be some sort of production mishap, etc., etc. They could come out to Wal Mart earlier, but of course they'll be missing the screw covers or something else and no be at any of your local stores. (I really hope I eat my words on all this and that it comes out sooner and in awesome shape  )

Well theyd have to see how successful the B25 is before they would do that

How will they ship the thing anyway? In multiple boxes or just one bulldozer?
And will it be sold on WM shelves?

Better NOT be another Avenger debacle  Really bad marketing on the part of 21st if you ask me. I'm another one of the guys in that "just wait and see" mode. Please 21st, prove me wrong!! :D

let's see first there was the Avenger (3 yrs late). :? :? then the "Bush" Avenger (xmas 2006) . Now the B-25. I think 21C should wait untill they have "hands on" before a release date is announced that way they can control the mayhem. I'll be right there waiting along with every one else. Has any one heard any updates on the "Bush" Avenger yet? Sarge

I think the B-25 announcement was to try and bring fans back into the fold after the F-4 fiasco. They are more than likely way out from final release or they would have showed us pics or something. But, if past history is any indication, we will see an official 21st announcement of release dates somewhere around 2 months after it is spotted at Walmart by one of our board members

It's called "managed confusion" to divert attention, the Chinese invented it as in "fire drill".   Go back to the numerous release dates of the Avenger.   We'll see it eventually. All good things come to those who wait.  Have a good one. Sarge

We will see the B-25 before the Christmas Season, this year, maybe before summer end.

The problems are only support of the wings and the size of the box.

I would just hope it is not given to Wallyworld and given to our online favorites.

My guess is very late 2007 or very early 08. With big birds like the B-25 and F-4 coming out, my hopes are high for a P-61 in the not too distant future. But I'm not holding my breath either...
