Anyone still finding the BBI Sherman around them?

Post by Hollywoodkbl » Fri Feb 09, 2007 6:14 pm

We had tons...and I thought I would get one soon enough....and now, of course, they are gone in my area. Anyone else still seeing them? I'm in So Cal....and no luck at any TRU. I feel like they disappeared overnight. :(

I grabbed mine last September. The first and last time I've seen one at TRU.

The two TRUs in my area (Fresno) had them for a while, and they just sat around. Luckily, I gave in and bought one last year. As was noted above, however, they are still readily avaliable via online stores. I highly recommend this tank, even over the 21c Shermans.

As usual with my luck, I had seen one a couple of months ago. Then I received a 20% off coupon form TRU's and went to buy one but couldn't find one. I saw a couple more a few weeks later afte the coupn expired.

Of course. As soon as TRU puts out a coupon, they put all the good stuff back in the stockroom, and they only bring it out once the coupon expires.

Used to see them quite frequently in the TRU in my AO, but lately haven't spotted any of them. I guess once the store clears them out, there are no plans on restocking them.
