I'm sure the consensus will be that the bbi Sherman is the better of the 2. You will be happier and a bit fatter in the wallet as well.

bbi hands down. I like 21st because its die cast but bbi has all the detail.

they are slightly different versions however. 21c is armed with a 75mm gun and BBI's is armed with the 105mm howitzer.

Get both.

The 21st is my favorite. The BBI has better detail, but the 21st is the more common version of the Sherman. I will still be getting the BBI when I find one because I like all Sherman varients.

Havent seen it in person, but the BBI seems best. It has all the opening hatches, hull detail, and even an opening engine compartment with detail! The 21st version does represent the most common Sherman variant, and the new brown one looks very good, in my opinion. Still, as has been said before, the BBI version is the best for detail and value!

I think the BBI Sherman and the 21st diecast complement each other extremely well. Both versions have their good points. I like the detail and extras on the BBI. I like the original 21st Sherman because it kind of started all this. I really like the paint job of the 21st diecast though . Hopefully the competition between the two companies will continue to spur them to greater efforts. Happy New Year
