Spider-man diorama background looks approx. 1:18?

Assuming this SM is indeed 6", this might be 1:18, since SM is taller than the doorway (why?). I think a lot of the SM and other Marvel sets have undersized backgrounds, so there might be potential here.
Of course, there is not much to them. This is just a bit of wall, a doorway, and a window.

hmm....you may be right. Could be a cheap and easy way of finding a bit of scenery.
Yup

I looked at some of this stuff in the TRU clearance section and definitely would work. Some pieces need to have functional parts of the "toy" removed, and they really would only be good for modern, but they seem fine with scale.
it would work!

I saw it a way back in Walmart and KB and It would deffinetely work. it is not exact but really good. the only concern you may have is how to camouflage or cover the backside of the toy since it is not realistic looking. otherwise it is really good. you may be able to use some rubble and bricks from BUILDARMA.
take care,
HOOHA!
