Stupid and easy question - what is the translation of the cyrillic letters on the side of the turret ("CYBOPOB")?

You would post this after I leave work, where I at least have the requisite tools... including my Russian dictionary.

I found my Russian-English dictionary here (must be the Russian-German one at work--I lose track). The Cyrillic characters equate to SUVOROV, and I can't find a match (or anything even close) in the dictionary, so it may well be a name, especially being in all caps like it is.

That's right, and it would make perfect sense too, since Suvorov is a famous person in Russian history.... http://www.ganesha.org/hall/suvorov.html and the tanks were often painted with patriotic names and slogans like "Za Rodinu!" (for the motherland!) and "Za Stalina!" (for Stalin!) I'm seriously considering buying one of these RC T-34's, they look like a lot of fun.

BTW, anybody know who has the cheapest delivered price on one of these???

Close enough for me!

These were on eBay before Christmas for under $60. Finally got the details glued on today  .

I bought one of those from a fellow board member some time ago MM. It's not bad. I just had to have something else that was Russian in my collection.
