New Armor

Post by Yoxford » Fri Jan 12, 2007 3:04 pm

GREAT NEWS...

My contact at Unimax informed me that Forces of Valor is going to launch a 1:16 Extreme Metal Sherman tank later this year.

He said to keep checking on their website for a notice soon.

Add to that new 1:16 figures and the 2nd Issue 1:16 Tiger I, and 21st Century will (we hope) launch the King Tiger and Wittmann's Tiger I 007,
2007 is going to be a great year for all us groundpounders!

Any clue as to the variant? Firefly or Easy Eight would compliment BBI's and 21c's nicely.

Chunks,

It will be Sherman, that is all I have, they were very tight lipped.
My guess is they will stay with the Normandy theme.

The only scale i collect is 1/18. So I'm not interested.
It's pretty easy to find tanks in 1/16 already. What we need is more 1/18 armor. :?

But I hope the rumors about the XD King Tiger are true. A Wittmann Tiger would also be welcome.

That would be awesome in 1/18th.

But I doubt they'd completly re-do their Late Tiger I. To do it correctly, they'd have to modify their molds to include the zimm texture found on ALL late Tiger Is. Would be easier to just issue the re-paint. And while their at it, other Tiger I re-paints aside from the completly inaccurate Gray or Winter whitewash over Gray - color for mass-market appeal only.
