Between spelling issues and proper translation, there have been a few slip-ups over the couple years. I would love to be able to assist 21st and others with confirming German spellings, translations, etc. BEFORE it gets printed on 100,000 packages!MandaloreSC wrote:I can't believe it. The new german figures have Wermacht in huge letters on the package. And it's totally wrong.
Correct would be Wehrmacht.
There are so many errors on the german language packages in the last time. It's okay when it's a tiny error in a name or something. I just smiled when I read "Pioneerpanzerwagen" on the halftrack package. But this isn't funny anymore. How much time do I need to check out the correct spelling of a german word? 10 seconds in google.
@Roy: Quality control please.

Im gonna be POed...
Im gonna be pretty POed if the halftracks and figures dont start showing up around Louisiana. I have invested a lot of time and money in 18th stuff but I am not going to start paying through the nose to on line retailers for new items. If there can be tons of useless Superman dolls two feet tall with no articulation that they cant give away they sure can do something about this. Wall Mart and 21st better get off their damn butts and get this distribution mess fixed. I will give everything I have to toys for tots and do something else...damn...

I checked two WM today for the new figures and found just the usual Japanese orphans. I saw a 21st Mustang for the first time in any WM, Flying Undertaker. I spent about 15 minutes looking it over before I decided the BBI Mustangs are much better looking and put it back.

Lol yeah the black Me-109 and Luftwaffe F-104 are usual long term residents my area Walmarts. Same goes for the Japanese figures.billgiff wrote:Hey Rowsdower, that sounds like my trips to W.M. The only difference is that the P-51 is the Ridge Runner instead.

wooohoooo!!! found 3 of the new figures in Hudson NH wlamart today. they had the riflemen, the tank driver with removable helmet and the tank driver without removable helmet. Can someone scan the back of the card with the SKU on it please. I looked at the back quickly and noticed the german with dress uniform. looks pretty cool.
Yeah, it was a quick place to snap the pictures. The lighting there is decent. My collection is relegated to the basement - not necessarily bad since its generally dark, cool, dry, and most importantly away from my 2 year old son's eager hands.caesarbc wrote:Hey PCB, forget about the figures, Is that a Kenmore dryer in the picture?
Found the new figs in Cleveland...
Hey Holensock,
not sure why you're not having much luck with finding XD up here in our neck of the woods. I've had the opposite experience. Just found all of the new D-Day soldiers and just before that found all the new halftracks and PAK-40 (although the US quad halftrack had a broken headlight due to the Walmart's usual rough handling of boxes).
The only things I haven't found yet and are really jonesing for are the MIG15 and F-86.
As for the figures, I really like the sculpts and weapons/accessories. But I agree that the over-weathering and glossy appearance are somewhat annoying.

Pittsburgh has nothing... No halftracks, no figures... The only things you see are a couple german fighters, some mustangs, and a smattering of Japanese or Marines here and there. Even those are dwindling though with the holidays.
BotB2 barely hit around here, and there surely hasn't been any sign of the new D-Day figures or the halftracks and PAK. It's pretty discouraging at times to be in this hobby when it's so poorly distributed to brick & mortar retail... Be nice to walk in a store and nab a new D-Day figure every whipstitch when I'm grabbing laundry detergent or whatnot. That's been a sort of fun thing to do with Star Wars this year since it's been well stocked and moving out the door quickly.

Re: Found the new figs in Cleveland...
It's gotta be the times I'm hitting these WM's! I was surprised to find the 2 D-Day Tankers, but that was at a WM about an hour away. The closeest WM's have nothing: Strongsville, Medina, N.Olmsted and Elyria...I did find a couple of Paks, but no other new armor....Warthog75 wrote:Hey Holensock,

It looks like somebody is clearing you AOR of the halftracks guys. Remember that there is 1 Pak per case of 4, so if you have a couple Paks on the shelf, then there are a goodly number of vehicles gone....

Well, there are a few of us in this area, all hitting the same Walmarts. I was only able to find any at a WM in the Cleveland area but was able to score all 4. Would like to find another set or two because these are so cool. Think it is time to try down south or west again. P.S. Watrhog75 were you able to find that Mig 15 at the Sandusky WM?
