Online shops keep me humble

It seems all I've been doing on here is complaining! Being FRUSTRATED that I can't find any XD in my local WM's! I've even giving up on XD a couple of times...only to come back to it.
It's my fault for wasting time searching WM's when ALL is available at the online shops. Sure, I'm paying MORE for most of it online than at WM, but instead of buying multiples, I'm buying one-at least with the armor-I can afford multiples of figures online.
So don't be like I was and GIVE UP on this hobby! SHOP ONLINE! Beats standing INLINE!
And that's my editorial comment for the day....December first, 2006....

Just look at it this way, you are probably spending more on gas just looking for them, I my self thought about going on a 2000 mile trek to go looking for them my self
300 miles one way to the farthest store north and back hitting at least 3 WM.
Then I would head back south and tack a turn west for about 60 miles and hit another WM. Then I would turn back east hit the interstate and go about 60 more miles to another Wal-Mart, then go another 120 miles and hit another 6 Wal-Mart, If I ever get this desperate I think I will have to check my self in to rehab.
Oh the joys of living in rural South Dakota

Yes, I've had better luck online recently than in the stores.

There are a number of ways to look at this issue, with advantages and disadvantages for each. First, if you buy online everything is at your fingertips, you save gas, and you never have to leave the comforts of home. On the other hand I personally enjoy the "thrill of the hunt" so to speak, and when I go on a foray I usually make a circuit and visit 3 or 4 stores within a 50 mile or so radius, I don't always find exactly what I'm looking for, but I rarely come home empty handed either. Then there is e-bay....we all know the pros and cons of "evil bay" so I won't elaborate on that, but it is usually the avenue of last resort for me.

Yeh, I like the "thrill of the hunt" too and when visiting Wally World you get to look for "Clearance" items too. I have found many things cheep that I didn't need this way!
I have been lucky to find most items at one of the many Walmarts in the area, probably because it has a large portion of military population! But, as of late, I have made many trips during the week to find the new Armor!
