Yes the EAM B-17 has been mentioned a few times in the past. A LOT of work to get a nice model out of it. The wings and tailplane have to be built from scratch. There is a pre molded fuselage and vacuformed engine nacelles provided, as well as vacuformed clear parts. The rest is up to the builder but if well done it is very impressive when finished.

Now can you imagin IF 21st or BBI was to make one of these babies in 1/18th scale? Wow. I would be the very first in line to buy one. However I highly doubt it will ever happen due to the cost it would take to make them. That is why I have reduced myself to building the Revell-Monogram B-17 kits.
