replacement parts from BBI?

Post by lsc1002 » Wed Nov 08, 2006 6:11 pm

I have lost one of the green smart bombs from my F-16. I have tried to live with it but cannot. How hard is it to get a replacement from BBI. I have filled out a part replacement request form twice but I keep getting a message delivery failure email so I am assuming that the request is not going through. Anyway, Does anyone have a direct line to the company or a way to contact them? Thanks gang.

Call their customer service number on the site. Occasionally you will get someone there. Its kind of hit or miss if they have replacements. Since they are rereleasing this plane, I think you may have good luck.

BBI pretty much told me to take a walk! Thanks for nothing BBI, even though I have 14 BBI items! Anyone else have any ideas about getting a replacment parts...I am sure that it is a dead issue but I had to ask.

Thats Unusual for BBI I had apilot who came apart at the waist I emailed them and called them and they shipped me one out No Charge. Keep trying. When you call them the main thing is to get someone who speaks english.

Thats interesting to hear BBI treating their customers that way. So far I have had no trouble getting re-placement parts from them at all. Very strange.

About a year ago I opened my "MD" Corsair and found out that I had 2 left wings. I went through the proper channels with Mike (from BBI) and Afergs help and submitted the problem to BBI. A couple months later I received a package from BBI that had a new "MD" right wing and a thank you/ apology note with it. Keep the faith and I'm sure that they'll do something for you.

In that case, maybe you can get lucky and get one from a collector who's jet took a nose diver from a shelf or slipped out of the fishing line. OUCH, that sounds painful but maybe their misfortune will be your salvation. Just a thought and I'll keep my eye out for one. Good luck.

There was someone here who was developing after market ordinance for these. He was asking for any interest. He seem to get quite a bit, including from me. Has anyone heard from him on this since? Might be a possible solution.
