What is your most hated 1/18 item out there?

Hmmm... worst vehicle?

The 21st Jeep is pretty high on the list since it's almost like a clown car for 1/18 scale purposes. It looks really sharp though, and I like it nonetheless. I'd say the one that tops my list is the Command Car. That one is about useless for the most part.

I'd say I have a least favorite head sculpt as opposed to the whole figure. That one is the open coat German BOB II bubba. They used him as the 1 1/2 ton driver too. Worst figures overall are the Hilter Youth Panther Commander and JROTC Jeep driver. Maybe I could use that one as Radar O'Reiley.

I hate the headsculpt and the Name of "Major von Schnitzel". And I agree with you guys that the command car of General Patton, and also the Patton figures were pretty useless and boring.

The APC drivers are the worst figures in any line ever made. Not real happy with the LAV having totally weathered tires and a top that looks like it just went through the car wash. Play nice. Bob

I don't know if I'd say I hate him, but the XD Market Garden paratrooper, Pvt. Battershall's face looks like he's ready to be tagged and bagged. The poor guys eyes are rolled back into his head and his mouth is just hanging open, I lol everytime I see him. .

I noticed that about the LAV too. I guess the crew really Turtle Waxed the hell out of the top section. Other than that it's a pretty wicked looking vehicle.

There is a WM in my area that have had tons of this figure FOREVER!!!!

BOB Jeep Driver - Okay if you put a different head on him and add some hands to hold a weapon - you can use him as a soldier. But as he is, forget it! YUCK!

When we didn't have access to the surplus Vietnam figures, the M113 figs were the closest thing to Vietnam we had. So, I popped their head and hands or arms off and coverted them over to a decent figure.

I still will take or trade anyone for their unwanted M113 figures.(I feel like the king of the Island of Misfit XD Toys)

I realy don't hate any of the vehicles or aircraft. Some are obviously better than others, but often the "worse" ones are the older models and it is to be expected that, say the S1 P-51 be nothing compared to the Avenger. I think a couple of the new hummers were a little boring as well, but they are fun to load up with figures or supplies. As far as figures are concerned, I really disliked the M113 figures. The commander figure was OK, but the hat-less guy was just odd. I also agree with Razor that the BoB MB Jeep driver is also a boring figure, but it does look good and has some custom potential. 21c should have at least given it a rifle or a jerry can or something else besides the stand!

I really dislike the S1 mini-me vehicle drivers. They were about two feet shorter than everyone else (if real size). Even there weapons and accessories were shrunk down.

Things that bugs me now is that most of the tankers or drivers don't have hands that can hold weapons. And what is up with every German Tanker and binoculars? It's like the German army had so many that they issued one to every tanker they had . Also why is it that all the tankers, drivers, and German figures get short changed on accessories? The new ones shown by 21st C are that way too .

Vehicles I would have to point out the stowage on the M113. Talk about useless . And the tri-pod mount parts for the TOW with the S1 Humvee, those parts are still unknown on what to do with them. I think there are more, but i can think of them off the top of my head.

It's gotta be the figs that came with the M113--they blow!

...just has to be the German pilot that came with the Seeman's 109 (and with others I believe). I didn't even take him from the package, but bought a carded Series 1 Bf-109 pilot instead.

From the "where the hell did that come from" files comes the CIA Huey! That scheme was the most pointless one made. The M-113 Figures definately take the "I wanna be a PTE member" award as the very worst of figures made....

I think they came from some PTE set or BBI. I use to have a bunch of those. I added them to an S1 US tanker and some of the modern guys in my tan M113 APC.

Using Vietnamese heads on the M113 crew bodies gives them the look of a smaller in stature to the US VN figures.

OH man totally hilarious pickupman!... and I thought the Young Pioneers KOMSOMOL field set (Oktober Revolution Edition) was bad! hehe

I have to agree with lsc1002 that the Mutt 121 Tactical Jeep is annoying and corny.

I would have to say the merrills Marauder kit was terrible. the vehicles were cool but the people are terrible. They're accessories don't even stay on them. they're joints loosen up after awhile. the instructions that come with it don't even help putting the right accessories on the right person. Thankfully for SSHQD i had good pictures to help me.

Same the Merrills Marauder set was not worth it.

i remember seeing the merrills set at tru once and looked at it for like 5 seconds and seen how bad the figures looked and moved on.
thats what bugs me, i only collect figures and playsets but i dont mess with vehicles theres just too many and no room.
and when i had finally found the german starship or whatever its called at wal mart and couldnt believe a crap figure was in that thing.

My most hated? The S1 21st Century Blue Nosed Mustang.
