What control surfaces move?Killerf6 wrote:Thanks Moth,
I thought the flaps would extend I just haven't been able to get them to come down, and I didn't want to break anything.
The control surfaces on mine do move but not a whole bunch.

All the surfaces on the 21c 1:18 FW-190D9 do indeed move. They do not have the flexibility of those on the retooled P-51, ME-109G or F-104, but they do move. The flaps are rather stiff and don't extend very far (about 1cm at most) but they are designed to move and have some interior detail. Another "hidden" feature of the XD FW-190 is that the tail wheel can extend and retract. I had my plane for a year with the tailwheel retracted before someone around here mentioned it could extendVMF115 wrote:What control surfaces move?
I was thinking about getting one, but I have heard that the control surfaces dont move and that bugs me, at least not like the me-109 or the P-51 do.
Thanks!tmanthegreat wrote:All the surfaces on the 21c 1:18 FW-190D9 do indeed move. They do not have the flexibility of those on the retooled P-51, ME-109G or F-104, but they do move.
