1/18 Humvee Comparison

Post by Morian Miner » Tue Sep 19, 2006 6:44 pm

Okay, disclaimers. This was over on the Joecustoms site, so the link is more geared towards Joe collectors. And, no 21C Humvees were shown. But, at least its a decent comparison of the various 1/18 Humvees out there. I know the question has been asked a few times.

Not only useful, but pretty darn funny and creative. :-D

I didn't know the back hatch opened on the forest PTE hummer like the 1/6th version, might have to reconsider snagging one of those.

I was actually impressed at the dual-folding hatch on the PTE. Pretty impressive IMO.

I've got the PTE humvee as well as the desert special ops vehicle. I swapped out the wheels with some rubber ones and they work great. The PTE would be my choice for those thinkin' about getting one.

I have Humvee`s from BBI,PTE,XD & Hasbro. Hasbro is the biggest of the lot & XD is the smallest of the lot. The BBI & PTE are pretty much on par.

If you recall I posted sometime ago some of my Humvee`s along with TOE (LOL those who saw know what I mean).

I think though ALL work really well together moreso if your converting say the Hasbro one into an Ambulance version.
