Just yesturday I recieved my 1/24th scale Eagleston Merit Int Mustang. For those who may be getting one or thinking of getting one I'd like to give my veiws on it. Here it goes:

First the good points. The paint job and weathering are excellent, I cant say enough about that. Second the detail they put into it is also excellent and you can tell Merit took alot of time to making their Mustangs look just right.

Now my complaints.

First the only working features are the spinning prop and the canapy and thats it! For me thats a bummer but expected because Matt at Bad Cat told me that. I feel that Merit could have at the very least had movable flaps on it but I guess I'm to used to my 1/18th Mustangs. Second they put rockets on it which I have never seen a Mustang in WW 2 carry, but I removed them so no big deal. Lastly they say its 1/24th scale but to my eye its more 1/32nd scale.

Other then that for those who love the mighty Mustang like I do its a nice addition to your Mustang fleet. I know I'll get the Shangri La version because all in all I like the Eagleston version that I just got. Mustangs fanatics will like it for sitting on their shelves and so fourth and thats were mine is right now.

So if you like Mustangs and are not concerned about working features get the Merit Mustangs because they are worth it and a nice addition to your collection.

What is the material it's made of. I have a couple of Merit's 1/6 pieces and I found them VERY fragile, made in resin.

Threetoughtrucks,

Its made of durable plastic. It wont break easily thats all I can say.

I really must plan carefully because for me in France the price always double up because of shipping !
