Finally convinced my wife !
Hey guys
i've got to say i'm very happy i convinced my wife to let me buy a PTE blackhawk, for 16 USD she couldn't have said no.
i'm not sure she realized how big this kind of toys are

Excellent news mate though she should be thankfull it`s the PTE Blackhawk as the BBI one is Actual 1/18th scale & a LOT bigger.
Still for $16 you certainly cannot argue with the price
Look forward to seeing what you plan on doing with it once you have it

my wife definitely don't want it hanging from the ceiling and i don't think i can spare more rom from one of my living room shelves.
hope i'll be able to open it and play a little bit with it
i think i'm gonna use th chopper harris figs as pilots and set a small SF/merc team aboard : 21st sf guy, 21st royal marin, custom bbi SF and bbi sf trooper

the purpose is to have 4 bbi seal (i've already got these), 4 SF guys and 4 international troopers for a killer team of 12 members
it's weird i know but i like i like even numbers
i may be tempted to customize a old bbi seal or army trooper into a new SF guy (as i've seen on these boards) and put the brit with the frogs

oh man...
I'm glad that I don't have to run my 'defense' budget through another "governing" body for approval! haha!! (I hope I haven't jinxed myself by saying this!!! - there's probably a rolling pin with my name on it somewhere)

Another tactic is to tell the little lady " Those planes are all for the kid" He loves taking the pilots in and out. They handle a little abuse rather well. We have 14 of them so far. Hanging in his room, he has a P-51 and a P-47 chasing down an ME-109. Now his big sister wants some hanging in her room.

I used to tell my wife I was buying them for my classroom. Well, that's just a little white lie. I buy the 32x to hang in the classroom, while I keep the XD out in the man cave (or dining room table, or entertainment center, or my militaria display case )
