1/18th A-10

Post by bigsarge » Wed Sep 06, 2006 1:57 am

Here is a cheap looking elite force A-10 warthog in 1/18th scale/I have seen them at target but they were cheap looking and didn't appeal to me.

Now, an A-10 is something I could be interested in, but we've had complaints about this version before, scale? detail? I forget which, maybe both.

Even a vehicle guy can get his feet off the ground once and a while

Scale and detail. Way undersized and very clunky. If you want a A-10 right now (or near future), and don't mind it undersized, PTE/Marauder John is coming out with one they showed off at the GI Joe convention this summer. I thought it was a pretty nice model. Yes, it is still not "1/18", but not to bad looking either.

the marauder A-10 is way better then that hunk of crap, its really a disgrace to great A-10! for shame BBI's attitude.. A10's are not kid friendly.... nor are they unfriendly friendly

hey guys,

the A-10 your talkin about is a TARGET only toy.

i just happened to read in the "direct from the source " (on this site) explains WHY its so cheap and fugly. this IS NOT an A-10 for the collectors (like us). this is a BBI TOY for children! and had to fit within targets quality (or lack of) and price point.

when BBI decides to do one for us, im sure they will do it up nice.
