new 1:18 figures from 21st

Post by tko211 » Tue Sep 05, 2006 8:30 pm

I spoke to 21st this afternoon. I have a solid promise that we will have figure pics this week! In fact I believe they are being taken tonight!

So for now let me hold you all over with the details of what I do know so far.

1. The photos taken tonight will be of carded figures. meaning they are already packaged! Does this mean a close release date?

2. Only a few figures will be released at a time as 21st R&D is releasing the 18 figs in few waves. I think?

3. The DAK figs are confirmed.

4. Everyting is new on these figs. New faces, uniforms, articulation, and new gear to outfit your soldier!

More news is coming there is still more to talk about!

I like the sound of the figures already being carded and ready to go. Hopefully something new will replace the S2 Japanese that are clogging up the pegs around here.

Spiffy news since figures are the line's core to me... I can't wait to see what's up. I just hope it's removable headgear, lots of goodies, good articulation and NON-specific face sculpts... IE: no Marine "Gruntin' one out" faces please.

Now Hasbro, make us some Head Sculpt & Endor Uniform variations! The new Rebel Fleet Trooper gets the JJ Seal of Approval Though!

It's already been confirmed that at least 2 of the 18 will be DAK troops. Beyond that, not much info was given.

I'm giddy here too Ja. Carded is good news because they're close but I must say it is nice to see them OOP at different angles all suited up. How they look with kit is the real indicator. Hopefully I will have them in my paws soon OOP and I will be posting the pics... 8)

Get these guys and and get them to the online retailers! After what I've went through (still) trying to find the MiGs, I'm tired of dealing with WM, for now.

Well fellas I gave good and bad news on the figures...

The good news- I have pictures of 2 of the new figs now! I am getting 2 more later tonight.

The bad news- You have to be patient for a couple more hours as I am working hard to get these up on area-21 so we can all have a great start weekend!

The facts- The figs I am aware of at this point are not Brittish or Russian. I just wanted to re-set expectations.

Check the site in a few hours...
