Does anyone make 1:18th scale ground crew figures? Sure would look great working on our model planes.

Not that I know of, thoug decent examples can be easily customized from XD figures - the BoB MB Jeep driver head and a regular infantry body (with or without a coat) are a great place to start. There are actually some Lego and Playmobil tools that work pretty well with 1:18 figures. Hope this helps!

Well are you talking about WWII ir Modern?
As MIG29 made some Modern to go with his F/A-18. He used the BBI series 1 Navy SEALs,Army figures to make them & also with appropriate coloured Jerseys as they are Naval groundcrew.
If modern US Navy ground crew:-
Jersey Colors
RED: Ordnancemen, repair parties and fire fighters.
BLUE: Aircraft handling, chockman, and elevator operators.
GREEN: Aircraft maintenance men.
YELLOW: Aircraft movement directors and catapult officers.
BROWN: Plane captains.
PURPLE: Fuelers who refuel aircraft between missions.
WHITE: Other (medical team, air wing LSOs, sighting teams, safety personnel, and visitors).
Hope that helps.

No ground crew figs yet. There are plans to still release the "legends" series which would include some ground crew.
I have seen a pic of the prototype ground crew figures and let me tell you, they are VERY cool! I would hope that we will see more intel on this subject in the 4th quarter this year?... we will see.

I think it was Ertl that had 1/18 Nascar figures with jacks, tools compressors, and other accessories. These were at Walmart last year. You might try Ebay just to see what they look like. A little paint and the stuff might fit in. Bob
