Fly In

Post by bigsarge » Wed Aug 30, 2006 9:28 pm

I am getting ready to have a fly in.What I am actually going to do is create a landing strip in my back yard and line up all my planes past and present to include all scales.Bordered by the armor and jeeps. This weekend is a long weekend for me so I plan to do this weather permitting.I will post pics of the completed fly in.

Sounds like fun. These models look so good photographed outside. I have lots of pictures of my planes that I took outdoors. Have fun, looking forward to your pictures. :D

It's been a long road, but I am still in the game. :)

The weather was nice here in Louisiana today. Low humidity, which is rare here this time of year. I took my Avenger outside and took some pictures of it. They came out good. I have taken alot of pictures of that plane. :D

Catman,
A fly in is the term used by pilots at small rural and private airports for a social get together.Basically an informal airshow.I am planning my own fly in so I can have a reason to open my planes that have been collecting dust for some time.
