As collections grow and products improve, unless you're simply wanting one of absolutely everything ever made and store them in boxes, there comes a time when what you have on display starts calling to you to "fix" this or that or simply bring in something new with more detail, more historical significance, etc.

So, I'm curious what other collectors would do in these situations, again, assuming they aren't simply stashed away in unopened boxes.

First up, the Landers' "Big Beautiful Doll" P-51.

Rumor has it that it's going to be re-released "in the future," with the new tooling, so what do you do?

I have the first issue in an unopened box. Will have to see what people think when compared to the new one.

I'll probably get the new one (if the bent props are fixed), but I am undecided on what to do with the old. It's not one of my favorties, but I really don't want to give it away dirt cheap. So I'll probably hang onto it until there is no more space for it or I can sell it or trade it.
